USE A LOWER TEMPERATURE GLUE TO MAKE ENERGY SAVINGS

Are you operating your hot melt at 160°C +? It may be worth upgrading to the latest technology to see savings in your energy consumption.

We tested exactly how much energy is used by hot melt tanks per hour and detailed the results, here are some of the most common reductions we see:

• 180°C to 98°C = 69.9% reduction

• 160°C to 98°C = 58.9% reduction

• 120°C to 98°C = 30.3% reduction 

• 160°C to 120°C = 41.1% reduction

PLANET-FRIENDLINESS

We've increased our efforts in being more planet-friendly. Here are a few examples of what we've been doing:

• We've invested in brand new solar panels that span the length of our office roof, enough to power our office purely from the sun!

• Leftover power from the solar panels is used to charge our fleet of EVs that send our engineers up and down the country visiting our customers.

• We're increasing our efforts to use planet-friendly packaging, with our bags now containing 30% recycled plastic.
